Projects

WSDOT SR520 Lower Bear Creek Enhancement Project

Created through a partnership between WSDOT, the City of Redmond, and King County. The project successfully combines the following objectives: wetland creation and enhancement, fish habitat enhancement, wildlife enhancement, and flood conveyance.

WSDOT SR101 Raymond

Soil Bioengineering Project - this project successfully restored a 700ft+ eroding hillslope by installing a live cribwall, willow walls, live stakes, fascines, and native plants.

WSDOT SR78 Chelan

Soil Bioengineering Project - this project, near Lake Chelan, employed benderboard fencing, compost and native plants to retard chronic surface erosion.

WSDOT SR 101 Forks

This project, in the very sensitive Hoh River Watershed, used live gully repairs and live gully breaks, along with willow walls and native plants to alleviate erosion.

MTH Sheep Creek Road

This project, undertaken by the Canadian Ministry of Transportation and Highways, successfully rehabilitated a major debris slide using live pole drains, fascines, brushlayers, wattle fences, live staking and native vegetation.
