IHSDM Policy Module
The policy which is used in the policy module as well as the overall system can be adjusted from the AASHTO policies that are included with the system.
The WSDOT policy information has been developed for use on WSDOT project development efforts. Currently one set will be used for modified and full design levels.
Review the Policy
The WSDOT policy is executed with two
files:
WSDOT_2004_Policy_(Modified).obj
WSDOT_2004_Policy_(Modified).policy.xml
Installation Instructions for the WSDOT policy files (after the IHSDM program has been installed). 1.
Copy these two files into the policy subdirectory of the
stand-alone computer’s program files directory of IHSDM. 2.
Run the system administration program “admintool.exe”, which is
located in the main directory of the computer’s program files directory
of IHSDM.

Select the policy tab. Select
the Rebuild Policy Files button and the tool will execute and load the
WSDOT policy files into the program.
