Attached is an update to the BDM that relates to seismic design procedures for bridge widenings. Please utilize the attached modifications until the BDM can be updated. The next BDM update will also include the new "minimum acceleration coefficient" for Western Washington. The attached modifications have the endorsement of the Seismic Steering Committee.
