SUBJECT:	BDM Update Sheet Expansion Joint Details

There have been some changes to Sheet 8.4-A1, Expansion Joint Details, which were not included in the latest BDM update. D. S. Brown no longer makes the SSCM shape and the seal type has changed. Specifying the old SSCM shape has lead to change orders on some recent projects.

Please notify our designers/consultants that the SSCM shape should no longer be specified. Suggest making a copy of the attached sheet for their BDM’s until the next update.
