On this day five years ago, WSDOT began sharing its software under the terms of an open source software license, and the Alternate Route Project was born. Today, after nearly 30,000 downloads, WSDOT is publishing updates for several of its bridge engineering programs and the announcement of a new software tool.
Updates are available for PGSuper, PGSplice, Barlist, BEToolbox, and Washington Bridge Foundation Libraries (WBFL). These are primarily maintenance updates with a couple of new features. Please read the installation information carefully before installing these programs.

You can download all of this great software from WSDOT's web site at http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/eesc/bridge. Once at the site, simply click on the "Engineering Software" link found on the left hand side of the site and select the programs you wish to download.
