I-90 Snoqualmie Pass East,
Alternative 2 Section 2,
Lake Keechelus Segment

Project Info
The design visualization for Alternative 2 of this project covers 5.4 miles of I-90 along Lake Keechelus from MP 55.1 to MP 60.6. An additional lane will be added in both directions making it a six-lane highway. The alignment will be modified to provide greater sight distance and drivability, and the existing concrete pavement will be replaced, providing a much smoother ride. Constructing bridges/tunnels will eliminate road closures due to avalanches.
