Rate Changes for All On-Call Agreements
To modify/update your Actualts Not to Exceed Table/Hourly Rate Statement letters
for all On-Call agreements, for prime consultants and their sub-consultants,
the prime consultant must submit a written request and have prior approval
of the new Actuals Not to Exceed Tables/Hourly Rate Statement letters. All requests
to modify/update your Actuals Not to Exceed Table/Hourly Rate Statement letter
for On-Call agreements must be made to the Headquarters Consultant Services
office, without exception. The following condition must be met in order
to have your rates reviewed for consideration of approval:
- You must be within the 90 day window preceeding the annivsary date
of the execution date of the master agreement. (i.e. If you master agreement
was executed on October 31, 2003, you have 90 days after October 31,
2004 or until January 31, 2005, in which to submit a request to to modify
your's and your sub-consultant's Actuals Not to Exceed Table/Hourly Rate Statement letters.) We request that you do not wait until January 31st to submit
your request.
Documentation that must be included in your request to modify/update
your Actuals Not to Exceed Tables/Hourly Rate Statement letters are:
- A new Actuals Not to Exceed Table/Hourly Rate Statement letter; and
- Current fiscal year overhead schedule and supporting documentation
to back-up rate changes and/or indication that rate changes are due
to pay increases for cost of living increases. Please provide percentage
of rate increase if due to pay increases for cost of living increase.
If approved, your new rates will be retroactive to the annivarsary date
of the execution date of the master agreement. A letter of approval will
be sent to you for your records.
WSDOT requests that the documentation be provided electronically in the

You may submit your request to modify/update your rates electronically
by sending it to ConsultantRates@wsdot.wa.gov.
If you do not have the ability to send the documents electronically, please
submit a hard copy request to:
