Until further notice: Skagit River Bridge on I-5 at milepost 228.25 is closed to ALL traffic; both directions. Detour: NB I-5 Take exit 227; turn right onto eastbound College Way (SR 538); turn left onto northbound Riverside Ave. that becomes Burlington Blvd.; turn left onto westbound George Hopper Rd.: turn right onto northbound I-5. All loads must travel 8pm to 7am only, loads over 11ft wide must have 1 front and 1 rear pilot. Farm equipment is exempt from this restriction.

Southbound I-5 detour for **legal heights only**: Take exit 229; Turn left onto George Hopper Rd.; Turn right onto southbound Burlington Blvd. that becomes Riverside Ave.; Turn right onto westbound College Way (SR538); turn left onto southbound I-5. Height restriction at I-5 undercrossing (SR 538 MP .1) Restriction legal height only! All loads must travel 8pm to 7am only, loads over 11ft wide must have 1 front and 1 rear pilot. Farm equipment is exempt from this restriction. ---------------------------------------------------------- Southbound I-5 detour **overheight loads**: Take exit 230; turn left onto westbound SR 20 for approximately 4.5 miles; turn left onto southbound Best Rd. then veer right to Fir Island Rd.; turn left onto Pioneer Road to eastbound SR 534 to southbound I-5 exit 221. No loads over 120,000 GVW on county roads. All loads must travel 8pm to 7am only, loads over 11ft wide must have 1 front and 1 rear pilot. Farm equipment is exempt from this restriction.
