Construction Related Insurance and Tax Rates
WSDOT Memorandum setting the effective date for
FUTA--SUTA--FICA and Industrial Insurance Rates for use on Force Account
on WSDOT projects
Effective January 1, 2008 the following tax and insurance rates are in
effect.

7.65% on first $102,000 in wages.
|

|
SSI portion is 6.2% subject to the above wage limit.
Medicare portion is 1.45% no wage limitation.

0.80% on first $7,000 in wages.
|
|
|
0.35% to 6.00% on first $34,000 in wages.

|
