Online Survey Solicits Feedback on Statewide Aviation Planning Study

The LATS team is reviewing data and preparing analysis as work on the Phase I online inventory survey nears completion. The inventory, which included a survey of 139 public-use airports in Washington State, provided information about airport facilities, operations and services. When completed, the Phase I report will provide a snapshot of existing airport facilities. It will also introduce classifications and performance measures to define standards for Washington's aviation system. Release of the full Phase I report is scheduled for late September 2006.

Preliminary findings are presented in a working paper that has been distributed to the LATS Technical Advisory Committee for review. The LATS team has also prepared individual data summary reports for each airport that participated in the survey.
