LATS Phase III Funding Sources and Budget
Project Objectives:
- How best to meet commercial and general aviation capacity needs;
- Which regions of the state are in need of improvement regarding the matching of existing, or projected, airport facilities and the long-range capacity needs at airports within the region expected to reach capacity before 2030;
- Recommendations regarding the placement of future commercial or general aviation facilities to meet the need for improved aviation planning in the region; and
- Include public input in the making of the final recommendations.
Funding Sources
FAA Funds: $180,000
WSDOT Multimodal Fund: $630,000
WSDOT Aviation Fund: $400,000
Total: $1,210,000
Work Program Budget
Public Communication and Outreach: 18 percent
Aviation Planning Council: 21 percent
Alternatives Analysis: 26 percent
Council Recommendations, Aviation Plans, Supporting Reports and Project Administration: 35 percent
Note: Funding for this project also includes WSDOT and FAA Staff Resources, as well as support from other state and private agencies and organizations.
