Aircraft Dealer License Forms

An "Aircraft Dealer" means a person engaged in the business of selling, exchanging, or acting as a broker of aircraft within a calendar year (RCW 14.20.010). If this is you, you need to submit an application for an Aircraft Dealer's License.

Download the Aircraft Dealer's License package (pdf 52 kb).

Please see the Revised Code of Washington, Chapter 14.20, Aircraft Dealers, for more information.

If you are applying for the first time, have your Bond Company send our office an original of your Bond. Print out and fill in all the forms (please note, form 900-040 requires two originals), have the application notarized and return by mail with a check to:

WSDOT Aviation
7702 Terminal Street SW
Tumwater, WA 98501-7264

If your bond has expired or changed, submit a new WSDOT form 900-041, Aircraft Dealer License Bond, along with a power of attorney from your insurance company. This form must be signed by the dealer and a representative from your insurance company.

All documents signed and notarized must be originals. We do not accept photocopies.

If you are a current Aircraft Dealer, you must renew your license prior to December 31st of each year.

Print out and fill in all the forms, have the application notarized, and return by mail with a check, to the address above.
