It is the goal of the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Aviation to involve stakeholders and customers in any decision related to general aviation in the state. The Aviation Advisory Committee, under the leadership of John Sibold, Director of Aviation, is one example of that commitment. Formed in 2002, the Committee is comprised of customer representatives who provide input to important issues facing aviation in Washington State.
