The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) awarded almost $28 million in formula-based public transportation grants to transit agencies for July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2009 projects. These grants improve public transportation for Washington State residents, particularly for persons with disabilities, seniors, youth, and people living in rural areas.
