Blocking Incidents
  • SR-128 milepost .5 Red Wolf Bridge between Asotin and Whitman counties in Clarkston: The bridge is closed to traffic 24 hours a day, 7 days a week until Friday May 25 as crews rehabilitate the bridge deck. People who normally use the bridge will be detoured onto US 12 / Bridge Street.
  • I-182 milepost 3 Queensgate Drive: Friday, May 18 at 10 p.m. through Monday, May 21 at 4 a.m. the eastbound on ramp from Queensgate to I-182 will be closed. A detour will be in place on Columbia Park Trail to SR-240 interchange. Signs and message boards will be in place directing traffic onto the detour. During this weekend closure traffic will be flagged though the intersection of Queensgate and I-182 ramp terminals. Delays are anticipated.
  • US-395 northbound milepost 17.5 to milepost 19.5 Kennewick/Pasco: Monday May 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be a right lane closure across the Blue Bridge for repair work. The Columbia Drive on ramp will also be closed during work hours.
Construction Closures
  • I-82 milepost 132 Columbia River Bridge near Plymouth: Eastbound traffic is shifted to the westbound Columbia River bridge into Oregon. The speed limit is reduced to 40 mph. Westbound traffic is reduced to a single lane.
  • Bridge repairs at several locations between Steptoe and Rosalia with traffic signals directing single-lane, alternating traffic. Expect short delays 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
  • Drivers should be alert for lane restrictions with possible delays at 4 new passing lane construction locations between Steptoe and Plaza.
  • US-730 milepost 1, just north of the Oregon State Line: Monday May 21 through Thursday May 24, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. drivers can expect intermittent single lane closures of no more than 15 minutes between MP 0 and MP 1.93. On Thursday May 24 work should be completed by noon.
  • SR-240 milepost 25 to milepost 26: Thursday May 24 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. there will be a single lane closure for pavement sealing.
  • US-12 milepost 413 to milepost 415: Monday May 21 through Thursday May 24 between the hours of 6 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. expect single lane flagged / pilot car controlled traffic for pavement sealing operations. Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
  • SR-129 milepost 42: Monday May 21 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. SR-129 (6th Street) will be closed to through traffic between the intersections of Poplar Street and US 12 (Bridge Street). Tuesday May 22 and Wednesday May 23 SR- 129 (6th Street) will be closed to through traffic between the intersections of Diagonal Street and US 12 (Bridge Street) during the same hours. Drivers should seek alternate routes during this work.
