Blocking Incidents
  • North Monroe Corridor Project - Monroe Street is closed between Euclid and Kiernan Avenue from April 2, 2018 until May 25, 2018.
  • North Monroe Corridor Project - Monroe Street is closed between Montgomery and Chelan Avenue April 2, 2018 through May 25, 2018.
  • Beginning April 16, 2018 Spokane City plans on closing Trent Avenue (sr290) from Hamilton Street to Perry Street for construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Trent and Perry. Work is scheduled to be completed by fall of 2018.
  • Monday, April 16 the Street Department will start a grind and overlay project on Wellesley Avenue. The project will close Wellesley Avenue between Division and Nevada Street. Project will last approximately 4 weeks.
  • Road closure for construction of a roundabout on Trent Avenue(SR/290) both directions at milepost 0.7 from Erie Street to Hogan Street beginning at 6:00 am on April 16, 2018 until mid November.
  • Spokane County: Starting on Monday, May 14, 2018, Monroe Road will be closed at Dragoon Creek for bridge replacement. Motorist should use other routes. This project is scheduled until Oct. 31st 2018.
  • COS - Adams St Combined Sewer Overflow Project - Crews will close First Ave from Cedar to Jefferson St starting Monday May 14th, 2018 until further notice. A detour will be provided on Riverside Ave. Local access only within closure location.
  • Lane closures with flaggers for asphalt repair on Sullivan Road, Saltese Road to Sprague Avenue, until 5:00 pm May 25, 2018. Watch for work crews.
  • COS - Peaceful Valley Combined Sewer Overflow Project - Starting Monday May 7th, 2018 crews will close N Cedar St from Main to Water Ave until further notice for project construction.
Construction Closures
  • Spokane County: Traffic impacts due to reconstruction of Bigelow Gulch Road at several locations including intersections. Please use caution and watch for flaggers and prepare to stop for trucks entering the roadway. A temporary traffic signal is located between Palmer Road and Weile Road. Expect delays. These projects are expected to run through the end of May.
  • Spokane County: Construction activities for the reconstruction of the intersection. Lane restrictions, reduced to one lane. Flaggers may be present. Be prepared to stop. This project is scheduled until May 31, 2018. Expect delays.
  • Bridge repairs at several locations between Steptoe and Rosalia with traffic signals directing single-lane, alternating traffic. Expect short delays 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
  • Asphalt paving and sidewalk ramp construction is underway. Drivers should expect lane restrictions.
  • US 2 is reduced to one lane in each direction with slow traffic, congestion, and possible delays.
  • Drivers should be alert for lane restrictions with possible delays at 4 new passing lane construction locations between Steptoe and Plaza.
