SR 520 Bridge Toll Rates

Tolls are collected in both directions of the bridge. The toll equipment for both directions is temporarily set up at the 84th Avenue NE interchange. Once the SR 520 Bridge construction is complete, the toll equipment will move to its permanent location closer to the water.

SR 520 toll rates for two-axle vehicles (includes motorcycles)as of July 1, 2016

  • The Good To Go! weekday and weekend toll rates increased 5 percent (equates to peak period tolls increasing 20 cents).
  • The Pay By Mail toll fee for vehicles without a Good To Go! account increased to $2, to align with the I-405 express toll lanes and Tacoma Narrows Bridge.

Toll rate setting and process

The Washington State Transportation Commission (WSTC) works with WSDOT and the public to establish toll rates for all highways and bridges in Washington State. The WSTC reviews traffic and revenue each year to determine whether new toll rates are needed to cover operational costs and debt payments. This review process starts in the fall and, if new rates are adopted, they are in effect the following July. Learn more about toll rate setting process .
