Blocking Incidents
  • SR 123 Cayuse Pass (elev. 4,675 feet) is closed for the season within the boundaries of Mount Rainier National Park between Crystal Mountain Boulevard and the Stevens Canyon Road entrance.
  • The Iron Goat Rest Area on US 2 at milepost 58, six miles west of the summit of Stevens Pass, is closed for the winter.
  • Rest Areas on I-90 both eastbound and westbound at milepost 161 are closed for maintenance, until further notice.
  • SR 410 Chinook Pass (elev. 5,430 feet) is closed for the season to through traffic from milepost 57 near Crystal Mountain Boulevard, about 12 miles northwest of the summit, to milepost 74 near Morse Creek, five miles east of the summit.
  • The RV dump will be closed westbound at the Winchester Rest Area milepost 161 on Interstate 90 for repairs until further notice.
Construction Closures
  • I-90 Snoqualmie Pass milepost 57 to 62: Daytime: Thursday April 19 single lane westbound. Loads over 12 feet wide prohibited Wed 8am to 8pm. Traffic delays up to 15 minutes estimated. Nighttime: Westbound; Thursday April 19 through Saturday April 20 single lane traffic. Eastbound; Thursday April 19 through Friday April 20 single lane traffic. Loads over 12 wide prohibited 8 pm to 9 am.
  • On SR 28 No work this week
  • On SR 17 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday and Tuesday. Paving from Junction with US 2 North to 3 miles south of the Leahy Junction with SR 174. Expect less than 20 minute delays with alternating one-lane flagger/pilot car controlled traffic and intersection flagging.
    Wednesday through Friday. Paving from Junction of SR 17 and SR 282 at Ephrata to just south of the Junction of SR 17 and US 2 at Coulee City. Expect less than 20 minute delays with alternating one-lane flagger/pilot car controlled traffic.
  • On SR 282 Monday-Thursday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Ephrata WSDOT maintenance crew will be crack sealing all 5 miles of the highway. Expect flaggers and short delays where they're working.
  • On SR 283 No work this week
  • On SR 28 Tuesday ONLY, 4/17 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on SR 28 between East Wenatchee and Rock Island Dam, expect less than 20 minute delays with alternating one-way flagger/pilot car controlled traffic or lane shifts for crack sealing damaged pavement.
    Then expect:
    Night work on Sunset Highway in East Wenatchee from 8 p.m. Wednesday, 4/18 to 6 a.m. Thursday, 4/19 and 8 p.m. Thursday, 4/19 to 6 a.m. Friday 4/20 - expect less than 20 minute delays with flagger/pilot car controlled traffic.
  • US-97 milepost 135 west of Dolarway intersection: City of Ellensburg crews will be installing new power and gas lines. Work will take place Monday through Friday during daylight hours. Crews will be working off the roadway near the fence and there should be no impact to traffic.
  • I-82 eastbound between milepost 33, Exit 33 Yakima Ave. and milepost 34, Exit 34 Nob Hill Blvd: Monday through Friday during daylight hours, Yakima City crews will be installing a new sewer line along the fence line. Crews will be working off the roadway on the shoulder and there should be no impact to traffic.
