Context Sensitive Solutions
WSDOT is working together with communities to make transportation investments that improve the way people live and work together, change the way we deliver community services, and the way we share information.
Transportation projects are now being designed using a process that engages communities commonly called Context Sensitive Solutions. This new approach weights transportation needs, community values and environmental goals on equal footing in determining a final project design.
