WA-RD Reports
Over 600 Washington Research Documents (WA-RD), commonly known as WA-RD Reports, have been published. These documents summary the research approach and findings of projects funded through WSDOT and date back to 1969. Reports may be searched by key word, author, title, WA-RD number, or date. Transportation Research Information Services Database
The Transportation Research Information Services (TRIS) Database is the world's largest and most comprehensive bibliographic resource on transportation information. TRISOnline is produced and maintained by the Transportation Research Board at the National Academy of Sciences and the National Transportation Library at the U.S. Department of Transportation.
TRIS contains over 500,000 records of published and ongoing research on all modes and disciplines in the field of transportation. It contains references to books, technical reports, conference proceedings, journal articles and on-going research in the field of transportation. Over 470 serial titles are regularly scanned and indexed for TRISOnline.
TRIS also provides a gateway to the International Transport Research Documentation Database. This resource provides an important first step in understanding the current baseline of events and recent innovations. Search TRISOnline.
TRAC Reports
Publications and reports produced by the Washington Transportation Center (TRAC) since 1983 are listed in a searchable database. Reports published since 1999 are available online in PDF.
TransNow Publications
Every year TransNow publishes two newsletters and an Annual Report to keep researchers and other transportation professionals informed about accomplishments and planned activities. In addition, Requests for Proposals, Research Project Descriptions, and Final Technical Reports may be accessed at this site. http://www.transnow.org/publication/reports.htm

Our on-site physical collection contains over 35,000 items. Materials include books, reports, journals, conference proceedings, videos, manuals, technical standards, and legal materials.
The Library also subscribes to several online resources: Transport (comprised of Transportation Research Information Services database and International Transport Research Documentation database); CivilENGINEERINGnetBASE, and American Society of Civil Engineers Journals online. The Library is a member of OCLC and uses WorldCat® and Connexion for resource sharing and copy cataloging. The library also subscribes to Lexis-Nexis and Dialog. Search the WSDOT Library holdings.
