WSDOT makes it easy for smart-phone users to "know before you go." A new mobile application for iPhone and Android keeps real-time traffic conditions always at hand.

State Route 224 near milepost 9: On Monday April 20 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.  crews will have short term right and left lane closures as they re-install railroad crossing symbols. Traffic will be directed through the work zone using signs and orange cones.

Foster Wells Road Vicinity to E Elm Road SB - Paving
US 395, Mileposts 25.4 to 36.2

Current Week Traffic Advisory:
Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., drivers should expect one lane closures between East Elm Road and Foster Wells Road traveling southbound on US 395.
 
Project Description:
This project improves US 395 southbound between mileposts 25.4 to 36.2, East Elm Road to Foster Wells Road by removing existing aged asphalt and replacing with new and the placement of new pavement markings and lane striping.

I-90 / Snoqualmie Pass Vic. – PCCP Rehab EB / Storm Water Retrofit / Delineation

Eastbound: Shoulder closures during daylight hours, Monday through Friday at Yellowstone Trail Road and the SR 906 interchanges.

Westbound: Shoulder closures during daylight hours, Monday through Friday at Yellowstone Trail Road and the SR 906 interchanges.

Project Description:
This project provides for the improvement of I-90 at the summit of Snoqualmie Pass from milepost 47 to 55.15 in King and Kittitas Counties. Work will consist of rehabilitation of the existing concrete pavement by replacing selected concrete panels, insertion of steel dowel bars in the pavement joints and diamond grinding of the surface. A pilot program will test LED lane and edge line markers. Other work will consist standard striping of the highway and drainage and paving work at the Hyak maintenance facility.

Wednesday, April 22: I-90 westbound milepost 54 to 51, WSDOT crew will close the left lane from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Thursday, April 23 I-90 westbound milepost 51 to 49, WSDOT crew will close the left lane from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

I-90 Hyak to Keechelus Dam Project (mileposts 56 to 61)

Rock blasting closures are scheduled to resume in June 2015.

Current Week Traffic Advisory:
Nighttime:
Friday night, April 17 and Monday through Friday nights, April 20 - 24: Traffic will be reduced to a single lane in the eastbound direction only.

Daytime: Monday through Friday days: Drivers should prepare for intermittent rolling slowdowns and possible added travel time in both directions.


Restrictions:

Bicycle Alternate Route: I-90 is closed to bicycles in both directions between the Hyak interchange (Exit 54) and Stampede Pass interchange (exit 62) because there is no shoulder for bicycles to use. Bicyclists can use the John Wayne Pioneer Trail, weather permitting, as an alternate route.

Project Description:
Crews are building a wider and more reliable five-mile stretch of I-90 from Hyak to Keechelus Dam by adding lanes, replacing and adding bridges, stabilizing rock slopes and replacing the snow shed with avalanche bridges. 


Maintenance/Utility Operations:
Monday, April 20: I-90 westbound near milepost 57, WSDOT crews will close the right shoulder for ditching operations from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Monday, April 20: I-90 eastbound milepost 95, WSDOT crews will close the right lane for catch basin cleaning between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Monday April 20: I-90 westbound from milepost 71 to milepost 80, between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. traffic will be reduced to a single lane for a mobile sweeping operation.

Tuesday, April 21: I-90 westbound milepost 54 to 55, WSDOT crew will close the left lane from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Tuesday, April 21: I-90 near milepost 137, WSDOT maintenance crews will have a moving operation both eastbound and westbound on the Vantage Bridge between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. to sweep and clean the bridge surface.

Wednesday, April 22: I-90 westbound milepost 51 to 54, WSDOT crew will close the left lane from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Wednesday, April 22: I-90 eastbound milepost 71 to 80, WSDOT crews will reduced traffic to a single lane a for mobile sweeping operation.

Wednesday April 22 and Thursday April 23: State Route 906 from milepost 1 to milepost 2.5 will be limited to one lane travel for ditching work between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Thursday April 23: I-90 westbound milepost 49 to milepost 51, WSDOT crews will close the left lane between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Thursday, April 23: I-90 westbound right lane closure near milepost 102 for guardrail repair work between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

I-82 / Selah RV dump stations east and westbound - CLOSED
Starting Monday, March 2, water and sewer services for recreational vehicles will be closed at the east and westbound I-82 Selah Rest Areas. Crews are replacing and upgrading the facilities. The dump stations will reopen in early May for use by recreational travelers.

The rest areas and restroom facilities will remain open to travelers during this time.
