Overview
This Structure Preservation Project repaired five bridges over the Methow River in a 12-mile segment of SR 153. The decks, rails and sidewalks showed marked signs of deterioration on Bridges 153/3, 153/4, 153/10, 153/14, and 153/15. Concrete deck surfaces were repaired - four were overlaid with Hot Mix Asphalt (3,10,14,15). Bridge rails were repaired on all five. Sidewalks on two (10,14) were retrofitted with supports.
Season one construction began in April, 2007 and was complete on September 13th. Season two construction began April 21, 2008 and was complete July 30th.
