Project Description
This project will grind and replace the existing asphalt concrete pavement to resurface this section of SR 285.

This project is in the Design Phase and has not yet been advertised or awarded.

Recent Progress
Began Coordination with the City of Wenatchee in February, 2004. Met with the Wenatchee City Council for a workshop session on April 15, 2004. Regular monthly communications with the City are ongoing. Open house with local businesses was held on June 10, 2004. Reviewed parking and striping issues with the city June 28, 2004. The wenatchee area intersection repair project has been included with this contract.

Design Construction Impacts
Construction activities will require close coordination with the City of Wenatchee, local merchants, schools, and emergency services.

Coordinating with City and the public to establish ways of mitigating impacts to the traveling public, businesses and pedestrians during construction.
