Project Description
This project will grind and replace the existing asphalt concrete pavement to resurface this section of SR 285.

This project is in the Design Phase and has not yet been advertised or awarded.

Recent Progress
Began Coordination with the City of Wenatchee in February, 2004. Met with the Wenatchee City Council for a workshop session on April 15, 2004. Regular monthly communications with the City are ongoing. Open house with local businesses on June 10, 2004, with a general public open house planned for Fall, 2004.

Design Construction Impacts
Construction activities will require close coordination with the City of Wenatchee, local merchants, schools, and emergency services.

No environmental impacts. No permits anticipated.

SEPA: Categorically exempt

Impacts to Traffic
Coordinating with City and the public to establish ways of mitigating impacts to the traveling public, businesses and pedestrians during construction.
