New guardrail on Trinidad Hill was part of this project. The Quincy Safety Rest Area was paved and restriped as part of this project. Additional pavement repair was done at the Burlington Northern Railroad undercrossing near Crescent Bar, to add structural strength to the pavement. Wetland areas were not disturbed during construction.
