Description:
This manual sets forth the department's policies, requirements, and procedures related to the ownership and operation of agency-provided vehicles and private vehicles used to conduct official state business. The rules are derived from the State Administrative and Accounting Manual (SAAM) maintained by the Office of Financial Management (OFM). The rules and procedures outlined in this manual apply to all types and sizes of department vehicles and equipment operated on public roadways whether agency-owned, leased, or rented.
