I-405 Congestion Relief and Bus Rapid Transit Projects- Get Involved

How can I get involved?
The I-405 Project is committed to regular community participation and guidance. The project's extensive community outreach program was established to foster open communication between the project team, decision-makers and the public. As the project moves into design stages, community outreach will continue to include regular program updates and opportunities for one-on-one public input into proposed design concepts. Check out the Community Calendar for information on public open houses, committee meetings and community briefings.

In addition, this website is updated regularly to keep you informed of all project media coverage and milestones. Project newsletters and Community Guides are also available on the website.

I-405 Project E-mail Updates

In May 2005, we began sending out e-mail updates on freeway and interchange improvements up and down the I-405 corridor. We plan to send out these e-mail updates at least once per month. We may send them more often, but only if we have important or time-sensitive news to tell you. We may send messages as frequently as once per week during the summer and fall construction season.

To join our e-mail update list, send an e-mail to lyris@lists.wsdot.wa.gov with "subscribe i-405" in the body of the message. You'll receive an e-mail asking you to confirm your subscription. Just hit reply and send, and you'll receive another e-mail confirming that you are subscribed to our list.
