May 22-23, 2007: East side of NE 128th Street Bridge closed
What are we closing?
We will close all lanes of NE 128th Street between Totem Lake Boulevard and the HOV ramps (the east side of the bridge over I-405).
We will also close the southbound right lane on Totem Lake Boulevard near NE 128th Street.
When will the closures occur?
Around the clock Tuesday and Wednesday, May 22-23.
Will we close the HOV ramps at NE 128th Street?
The HOV ramps to southbound I-405 and from northbound I-405 will remain open at NE 128th Street, but access will be from the west side of the bridge only (116th Avenue NE).
How will this affect your trip?
Drivers will not be able to cross I-405 on NE 128th Street. Signed detour routes will be in place.
Please note that 116th Avenue NE remains closed from just south of NE 128th Street south to McDonald's until October.
Why is this closure necessary?
We need to keep drivers and workers safe as crews install a sign structure over the NE 128th Street bridge.
