June 20 - The new NE 128th Street bridge is taking shape. I-405 HOV on and off-ramps will connect to the bridge in the middle.June 20 - In the early morning hours, with all southbound I-405 lanes closed, crews guide huge steel girders into place for the west half of the new NE 128th Street bridge. We set girders for the east half in March.June 7 - Pouring concrete for the bridge deck on the east half of the new NE 128th Street bridge. We pump the concrete in through long pipes from trucks sitting on Totem Lake Blvd. The machine at right settles and smoothes the concrete. June 5 - Crews have finished installing all the steel for the bridge deck on the east half of the new NE 128th bridge. We plan to pour the concrete on June 7.
