Nov. 2007 - The new NE 128th Street bridge over I-405, with 116th Avenue NE at the bottom of the photo and Totem Lake Boulevard at the top. All of the new direct access ramps in the I-405 median are open to transit and HOV traffic.

Feb. 2006 - I-405 at NE 128th Street. We completed the east bridge support (right), then the west bridge support (left), and are now building a bridge support in the median. A couple weeks after this photo was taken we closed the intersection of NE 128th and Totem Lake Blvd. (right) for several weeks. We had to raise the elevation of the intersection to meet the height of the new bridge.

Feb. 2006 - The project is 35% complete. This view clearly shows how we've shifted the northbound half of the freeway to the east (right) so we can build bridge supports - and later, the HOV ramps - in the median. We're preparing to shift the southbound half to the west (left).

Jan. 2004 - I-405 looking north at the NE 124th Street interchange. The red dots indicate NE 128th Street (at 116th Ave NE on the left and Totem Lake Boulevard on the right). In the Totem Lake Freeway Station Project, we're building a bridge across I-405 at NE 128th Street. New HOV on and off-ramps will connect to the bridge in the median.
