Schedule
Began April 3, 2007. Partially reopened Dec. 10, 2007. Expected completion spring 2008.
Delays
This closure was originally scheduled to last up to six months. The contractor’s work was delayed by weather and wetlands-related issues, and placement of the geofoam fill was labor intensive and very slow going. The various unexpected conditions and challenges added approximately six weeks to the original schedule.
