On December 20 crews began construction of the last noise wall on the east side of I-405 just north of NE 85th Street. Crews anticipate that the noise wall will be completed by mid-February.
Construction crews began planting thousands of plants and trees in Forbes Creek and Forbes Lake in the middle of December. They will begin planting along the I-405 corridor in January.
NE 116th Street was closed under the freeway December 1-3 while construction crews demolished a portion of the southbound bridge. Crews will close NE 116th Street for the last time in spring 2007.
