Design Construction Impacts
This is a widening project that will be constructed in two stages. Stage 1 provides one additional lane in both the northbound and southbound directions from NE 85th to NE 124th. Stage 2 provides one additional northbound lane from NE 70th to NE 85th and one additional southbound lane from SR 522 to NE 124th and from NE 85th to SR 520. The 2004 Legislative session approved the construction of this work in two stages with Stage 1 being the first I-405 project to begin construction.
