I-405 - South Bellevue Widening - October 2007


Crews pour concrete as part of work of a new retaining wall along the
east side of northbound I-405, near Coal Creek Parkway. The wall will
support the hillside so a new northbound lane can be added to the
east of existing lanes.



A backhoe removes dirt in preparation for building a new lane on the
on-ramp from 112th Ave SE to northbound I-405


Crews drive steel piles in the ground to begin widening the
bridge next to the highway on the east side of I-405 at Coal Creek Parkway.


A truck pumps concrete for a new shaft to support the new
southbound bridge over I-90.
