I-205/Mill Plain Exit - 112th Ave Connector

Project Description
This project will provide a direct connection to NE 112th Avenue from the off ramp of northbound I-205 to westbound Mill Plain Boulevard. It is a partnership project with the City of Vancouver.

Skillings-Connolly Inc.   

Recent Progress
Design activities for this project are complete and the project is on scheduled to be advertised in March 2008, with construction to begin in early summer.

Design Construction Impacts
This project consists of a new ramp bridge over a modified off-ramp.  A new intersection will provide direct access from I-205 to NE 112th Avenue.  Ramp traffic will be detoured on a temporary alignment during construction.

Environmental Impacts / Compliance
Environmental documentation, for this project and the I-205/Mill Plain to NE 18th St. Project, was completed in August 2007. Environmental permitting is complete.

Impacts to Traffic
There will be impacts during construction, including ramp detour routes.  Anticipate minimal impacts to Interstate route 205 and moderate impacts to Mill Plain Blvd and 112th Ave.
