Project Title & Location
I-205 Mill Plain/112th Avenue Connector

Project Description
This project will provide a direct connection to NE 112th Avenue from the off ramp of northbound I-205 to westbound Mill Plain Boulevard. It is a partnership project with the City of Vancouver.

Skillings-Connolly Inc.   

Recent Progress
WSDOT and the City of Vancouver are continuing to work together to advance the design of this project in close coordination with the I-205/Mill Plain to NE 18th St project. The project design is at ninety percent plans, specifications and estimate and progressing towards its construction date in 2008.

Design Construction Impacts
Construction is currently scheduled for Spring/Summer 2008 through 2009.  The Mill Plain northbound on-ramp and Mill Plain westbound off-ramp traffic will be detoured through the project area on temporary roadways. Anticipate several single lane weekend and intermittent single lane weekday closures on Interstate Route 205.

Environmental Impacts / Compliance
Environmental documentation, for this project and the I-205/Mill Plain to NE 18th St. Project, was completed in July 2007.

Impacts to Traffic
There will be impacts during construction, including ramp detour routes. Construction staging plans are developed. Anticipate minimal impacts to Interstate route 205 and moderate impacts to Mill Plain Blvd and 112th Ave.
