I-205/Mill Plain Exit - 112th Ave Connector

Project Description
This project will provide a direct connection to NE 112th Avenue from the off ramp of northbound I-205 to westbound Mill Plain Boulevard. It is a partnership project with the City of Vancouver.

Skillings-Connolly Inc.   

Recent Progress
WSDOT and the City of Vancouver are continuing to work together to advance the design of this project in close coordination with the I-205/Mill Plain to NE 18th St project. The project team has completed 100 percent plans, specifications and estimate. Construction advertisement is scheduled for early 2008.

Design Construction Impacts
This project consists of a new ramp bridge over a new off-ramp.  A new intersection will provide direct access from I-205 to NE 112th Avenue.  Ramp traffic will be detoured on a temporary alignment during construction.

Environmental Impacts / Compliance
Environmental documentation, for this project and the I-205/Mill Plain to NE 18th St. Project, was completed in August 2007. Environmental permitting is nearly complete.

Impacts to Traffic
There will be impacts during construction, including ramp detour routes. Construction staging plans are developed. Anticipate minimal impacts to Interstate route 205 and moderate impacts to Mill Plain Blvd and 112th Ave.
