Project Description
Construct an additional left turn lane at the intersection of the southbound off-ramp and Mill Plain Boulevard to reduce the number and severity of collisions at this location.

Recent Progress
This project was awarded in March 2006. Most of the project work was completed in June 2006 with roadside planting to occur in Fall 2006. The project is ahead of schedule and within budget.

There are no design or construction impacts to report.

Environmental Impacts / Compliance
WSDOT monitors erosion control and water quality on a daily basis to maintain compliance with the regulatory permits.

Impacts to Traffic
I-205 southbound to Mill Plain Blvd Off-Ramp will have intermittent left and right shoulder closures. There will be some nighttime single lane closures on Mill Plain Blvd. Up to three nighttime ramp closures will be allowed.
