Milepost 31 Closing Celebration
Thursday, Nov. 2
5 to 8 p.m. (presentation at 6 p.m.)
Milepost 31, 211 First Ave S.
Milepost 31 is closing at the end of the month. It’s had a terrific six-year run: nearly 80,000 visitors have come to learn about the program to replace the Alaskan Way Viaduct and the history of the land that is today Pioneer Square. We created a retrospective video about the center and its successful partnership with the neighborhood:
When you visit, be sure to test your viaduct trivia knowledge. You’ll be entered into a contest to win a special tour into the new SR 99 tunnel! You can also enter by sending us a favorite memory or photo of the Alaskan Way Viaduct via Twitter or email. The contest runs through Nov. 10.
