Visiting Pioneer Square or the waterfront? We'll help you find parking

There are a lot of great things to do in the Pioneer Square and waterfront neighborhoods. Since circling the block to find parking isn’t one of them, we launched a parking website to help visitors track down one of thousands of parking spaces within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, attractions and more. The site includes rates, hours and directions to specific lots or garages.

Traffic patterns have changed near the ferry terminal

In spring 2012, we rerouted six blocks of waterfront traffic from Alaskan Way to a newly improved road beneath the viaduct to make room for tunnel construction. We’re using the extra space to prepare the tunnel boring machine's path beneath Alaskan Way, south of the ferry terminal. Our waterfront map (pdf 1.2 Mb) explains the changes to the way traffic moves along the waterfront.
