The project is located four miles south of Tonasket on US 97. This project will rehabilitate the deck on the Janis Bridge over the Okanogan River (MP 310.6 to 310.7).
A detour around the project will begin on Monday, June 15th continuing through Monday, July 27, 2009, barring any extensions of time due to complications or weather.
Drivers travelling on US 97 will be routed onto Highway No. 7 from milepost 309.72 to 321.45 (11.73 miles). US 97 will be closed at mileposts 310.60 to 310.76 for the bridge deck repair project.
