US 97, Brewster Vicinity - Install Lighting

Project Description
US 97, at this location, has inadequate lighting for pedestrians. Install streetlights on US 97 in Brewster. This will reduce nighttime risk to pedestrians.

Contractor/Consultant
J-U-B Engineers is the consultant for the preliminary engineering portion of this project.

Recent Progress
The deisgn team met with the mayor and city council and has held an open house to discuss the project with local residents and business.

Design Construction Impacts
The project will not have right of way impacts but the PEF sidewalk project that is being constructed with this project will have access impacts to businesses adjacent to the highway.

Environmental Impacts / Compliance
Concurance from USFWS has been recieved and a NEPA Documented CE is completed.

Impacts to Traffic
There will be minimal impacts to traffic during construction.
