Crews install bridge rail in preparation for opening the bridge to traffic in one month.


Concrete deck pours on the truss span have been completed. The deck is covered with insulating blankets as the concrete cures and reaches strength.


Rebar installation on the truss span is complete. Temporary walkways are in place for access during the deck pour.


Crews are progressing on deck formwork installation at the main truss span.


Crews remove deck panels from the main truss span.

Concrete deck pours complete on the Washington bridge approach.


The last concrete deck pour on the Washington bridge approach is complete. Concrete is covered with insulating blankets while it cures and reaches strength.


Crews install a heating system that warms the concrete evenly and prevents the concrete temperatures from getting too cold while it cures. Heated water is pumped through the hose that is coiled on the concrete surface.
