Detour routes are available during construction. These include US 197, The Dalles Bridge via I-84 or State Route 14. Another option for eastbound traffic is to cross at the I-82 Columbia River Bridge.
Please note: Carriers traveling on US 197 should be aware of the length restrictions between US 216 and US 97. Length restrictions include trailers over 53 feet in length, exceeding more than 60 feet in total length of the truck and trailer combined.
