NSC Aerial 8-24-05
A temporary construction detour for US 2 traffic near Shady Slope Road. Existing US 2 and its intersection with Shady Slope Road is in the center foreground of the photo. The detour is the darker pavement with the short bridge. Construction traffic will cross under the highway traffic reducing impacts to motorists. Photo taken on August 24, 2005.

US 2 Haul Road Bridge Construction
Continued work on the US 2 haul route on July 15, 2005. When complete, the highway traffic will cross over on a temporary bridge at this location. This will allow trucks filled with dirt to pass under the highway and not tie up US 2 traffic. The photo is looking to the northeast. Existing US 2 is at the bottom left of the photo.

NSC Grading
Work on the first major contract on the North Spokane Corridor-Hawthorne Road to US 2 on March 19, 2002. This was a grading job near the Kasier/Mead plant.
