Two variable speed limit signs like this one the east side of Stevens Pass will be installed on the west side of the summit.
A cutting device like this one will be used to extend the fiber optic cable from the summit west to connect the two Variable Speed Limit Signs.
After it's installed on the south shoulder of US 2, the fiber optic cable will be buried.
