US 2 - Trestle Rehab - Stage 2 - Complete October 2011

Overview
We repaired and reinforced more than 844 girders on the westbound US 2 trestle near Ebey Island to extend the lifespan of the structure by 25 years. The girders are reinforced with mortar and carbon fiber to help them last well into the future. We completed similar repairs on the east end of the westbound US 2 trestle in 2007.
