We will extend the lifespan of US 2 and give drivers a smoother ride by repaving US 2 from Monroe (milepost 16.12) to Sultan (21.35). In addition to paving, crews will install center and shoulder rumble strips, as well as pavement markings.
To maximize our resources and limit interruptions to traffic, we try to repave roadways at just the right time. We try to catch roadways when they have some damage, but are not so damaged that they will require additional repairs.
