We will upgrade stormwater outfalls at several locations east of Monroe through Sultan, along US 2 from the vicinity of Fern Bluff Road to the vicinity of Sultan Startup Road. Improving the outfalls will prevent harmful chemicals and metals from reaching groundwater, creek and rivers, and private property. We will also reduce erosion caused by high volumes of water coming off US 2 during storms.
