Project Description
This project will replace the existing narrow bridge with a new structure that meets current standards.

Recent Progress

Survey data acquisition completed August 22, 2006.  Wetland survey complete August 10, 2006.  Interdisciplinary Scoping Workshop with stakeholders from USFS, USACE, NOAA Fisheries and WSDOT completed August 29, 2006.  Cultural resources survey initiated in August 2006.  Geotechnical Exploration started September 2006.

Design Construction Impacts

Construction will require staged bridge construction.

Environmental Impacts / Compliance

Possible wetland impacts.  Section 106 Consultation required.  Construction will require HPA and fish-windows for in-water work.

Impacts to Traffic

Potential 1-lane with traffic signal and staged bridge construction.
